The franchise’s leading star Jennifer Lawrence took to her Facebook account on Wednesday to release the last poster. She presents an archetypal posture from her character Katniss, in full battle-ready gear while she captioned it as “Final Poster. Tickets on sale tomorrow!” and teased the movie’s release date, Nov. 20 – reports Entertainment Weekly.
This poster is indeed the last publicity campaign and the most special out the once released all this while, as it is not only “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2” last propaganda but marks the end of “The Hunger Game” trilogy. The franchise has grossed more the $1.1 billion at the box office ever since the film movie release in 2012.
According to Comic Book, in “The Hunger Games; Mockingjay – Part 2,” apprehending the stakes are no more for just survival, Katniss pairs up with her closest friend, including Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), Gale (Liam Hemsworth) and Finnick for the eventual mission. Jointly, they vacate District 13 to rescue the natives of war-torn Panem and kill President Snow, who’s preoccupied with annihilating Katniss. What reposes forth are mortal traps, menacing foes and virtuous option that will finally decide the future of millions.
While Jennifer Lawrence, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Willow Shields, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone with Stanley Tucci and Donald Sutherland will reprise their original roles from the other two franchise, “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 ” is helmed by Francis Lawrence and the screenplay comes from Peter Craig and Danny Strong.
“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2” is slated for a release in theaters and IMAX on Nov. 20, 2015.
