“Hunger Games: Mockingjay” star Jennifer Lawrence was very emotional when she spoke about the last installment in the franchise. In a recent interview, Lawrence, who plays Katniss Everdeen in the film, said that she will miss the entire cast especially Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.
According to Ecumenical News, fans of the “Hunger Games” franchise still could not believe that Katniss’ journey is about to end. Although they are excited to see how the film adaptation would give justice to the series written by Suzanne Collins, they are definitely heartbroken seeing how one of the highest grossing franchise is coming to an end.
The executive producers, however, said that fans of the novel will surely be satisfied with how the film ended. It was said that the cast members gave their all to give fans an unforgettable finale.
In a recent interview, Lawrence said that playing Katniss has always been one of the highlights of her career. She said that she was really inspired by the “Hunger Games” franchise and what it stood for.
“The changes that happened in my life from doing these movies are so permanent that I don’t think I’ll ever really say goodbye, it’ll always be a part of me,” she said.
Speaking to Movie Pilot, the cast of the “Hunger Games” franchise revealed what they will miss most about shooting the film. Hutcherson said that he is definitely going to miss seeing Lawrence on a regular basis. He said that she just brings her sunny personality to the set which everyone adores.
“I think because she acts so crazy and genuine that she makes other people feel free to be themselves,” Hutcherson said.
“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2” hits theatres on Nov. 19.
