‘Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 2’ trailer releases

Just yesterday a couple of media outlets in Los Angeles received some promotional merchandise related to “Hunger Games” upcoming final instalment that would mark the end of the saga. Many guessed that there would be some sort of big announcement since the studio was taking this kind of effort to promote their movie. For all those who guessed that the movie’s trailer was the big announcement seems to have guessed it correctly because the first trailer of the movie has released today.

According to Yahoo! Movies, a teaser trailer released online shows why Katniss is not one of those heroes/survivors you mess around with. Clearly it is pretty evident that President Snow has done enough to piss Katniss and other districts to force them to rebel against him. It is indeed Katniss who in the teaser is shown to unite all the districts and make a collective effort to attack capitol and the antagonist president.

What is even more relieving to know that all of her known associates are back on her side and with associates, we mean Peeta played by Josh Hutcherson who was in some kind of mind spell and had started working for President Snow and because of the same reason had led to him assaulting her by almost choking her to death. Luckily, this time around Peeta is with Katniss as they reminisce about all the good times and embrace thus leading to attack the Capitol together in order to take President and his associates down. What is interesting to see how the poorer districts will rebel against the mighty Capitol and take back their freedom from them.

In a way it hints at a more futuristic version of the American Revolution, only this time they are fighting against a more domesticated enemy. Will Katniss end up as the new leader of the districts or will she prove to be the symbol of hope and independence in all the districts, we can only wait for the movie to release and relieve ourselves of these questions. It will hit theatres in November.
