According to MoviePilot, recent reports revealed that there are chances for more movies of “The Hunger Games.” More movies and potential TV spinoff of “The Hunger Games” series are on the way. In fact, there are many chances for future plots as plenty of questions in the novel need answers. Perhaps, this is the reason why the movie’s studio is not willing to let this franchise die.

Jon Feltheimer, the CEO of Lions Gate Entertainment, revealed before a month that the studio is planning to expand “The Hunger Games” franchise. It was after finishing “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.”

Suzanne Collins, the author of “The Hunger Games” novels, is on board with the franchise for the future plans, according to actor Josh Hutcherson. While Collins has recently declared that she is done with the books. Does she feel enough with Lions Gate or does she wishes to quit the franchise? Whatever may be the reason, it is certainly not easy to envision “The Hunger Games” without Collins.

Whether Collins is on board for the franchise or not, possibilities are there for future stories of “The Hunger Games” series. According to director Francis Lawrence, if Lions Gate goes forward with their plan for future films of the series, new characters would be created to lead the franchise. The new characters could be as compelling as the character Katniss. This could be a bad news for the Katniss fans. However, their plan for a TV show would definitely excite the fans.

“The Hunger Games” series has definitely amused fans with its exciting plotline and talented cast. Will the TV show of the series deal with the first multi-billion dollar film or will it be a complement to the sequels? Let us wait and see!
