Now “The Vampire Diaries” actor Ian Somerhalder is ready to feel the ecstasy of fatherhood. This we have come to know from an exclusive interview of the 36-year-old star with ET Online, where he shared about “practicing” something before becoming dad. Let’s have a look what he had shared during his short conversation.
A few days back a rumor surfaced that Somerhalder was very excited by just imagining his wife Nikki Reed’s baby bump and contemplating to add a new member in their small family. However, his wish went completely against 27-year-old Reed’s aspiration to take her career at the peak. Their conflict aroused simply because she could not give up her recent project as she was recently selected for playing the character of Besty Ross in Fox’s “Sleepy Hollow.” But now it seems they have made an understanding that would not certainly hamper her career.
“Oh, hell yes! Absolutely. You know, it’s all about practice… It’s not practice makes perfect – it’s perfect practice,” Somerhalder said while he was asked if he wanted to be a dad.
Somerhalder actually echoed that he and his wife Reed are actively engaged in “perfect practice” before the couple tries to conceive a baby. While giving his answers on becoming a dad, the actor seemed to have been highly excited. On the other hand, the couple is said to have been in a practice of parenting nine animals since long.
“It’s the most incredible thing to be happy and secure in something,” It’s a pretty crazy time and place to bring a child into this turbulent and insane world — but I really can’t wait to do it and really just love it,” Somerhalder added.
According to Stuff.co.nz, the “Twilight” actress Reed has sold off her compound in Hollywood Hills for $1.31 million. MNG had also reported you that the newlyweds was planning to settle down in their new retreat home that they had purchased recently. They had purchased a contemporary Venice estate from Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith worth $2.85 million.
