2016 will certainly be cine-lovers paradise. Hollywood is boosting up with lines of exciting projects of diverse genres. “Ice Age: Collision Course” is one of that predominant names that will play a big deal in the box-office.
20th Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios catered the characters of Sid, Manny, Diego and of course, Scrat from “Ice Age” almost 14 years ago and gradually in following years they have come up with four installments of the franchise.
Now fifth sequel of the classic animation movie, titled “Ice Age: Collision Course”, has landed in the scene with its brilliant trailer. 20th Century and Blue Sky have shaped the trailer in a new angle by putting ‘Scrat’ at the centre of attraction. The trailer explores a series of cosmic events that transform and threaten the Ice Age World with a giant meteor and this treatment can be an indication to the doom of “Ice Age” and so the beloved characters from the animation saga. Cinemablend mentions the trailer as a hysterical and promising piece of act.
Some readers may recognize the above trailer as a condensed version of the Scrat short that played before another recent Blue Sky release, “The Peanuts Movie”. Well, to save ownselves, Sid (John Leguizamo), Manny (Ray Romano), Diego (Denis Leary), and the rest of the herd must leave their home and embark on a quest to exotic new lands and encounter a host of new characters. This, obviously, spells trouble for the unusual herd on Earth. Sid, Manny, Diego and gang will now have to avoid a different cataclysmic event, though it’s not quite clear what we’re to expect from this new Ice Age adventure.
Lori Forte will be producing the film and Mike Thurmeier will regulate the venture from the director’s sit. “Ice Age: Collision Course” premieres on July 22, 2016.
