Gear up “Frozen” fans! We finally got great news for you. Idina Menzel, the voice behind the Academy Winning song, “Let It Go” said that there will be a sequel for the hit 2013 3D-animated musical fantasy film
During an interview with the UK Telegraph, Idina Menzel gave us a hint that “Frozen 2” is finally happening and it will hit the theatre a lot sooner than we all expected.
In the interview, she also shed light on the different “Frozen 2” projects like, a stage show for “Frozen,” along with the short film and later in the interview she confirmed that all these projects are in pipeline.
“I’m just going along for the ride,” she added.
The 43-years-old Broadway star, Idina Menzal said that “Frozen” has fulfilled her dream and has given her more than she ever asked for and she is really excited to be a part of the sequel of blockbuster.
“Frozen” is among those Disney films that have remained the highest-grossing animated movie of all time and if Disney gives us the sequel then the second part can also grab huge dollars.
Apart from breaking all the blockbuster records, “Frozen” has turned out to be one of the biggest social media smasher of all times with different versions of hit songs currently available all over the YouTube and the “Frozen” merchandise inspired by Anna and Elsa did outsold Barbie.
At Disney’s annual meeting in San Francisco, Iger and Lassester officially announced that the film production is working on “Frozen 2” with Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee returning as the directors.
