“If I Stay” Synopsis:

Mia Hall thought that the hardest decision that she would ever make was to pursue music at Juilliard or stay and be with Adam. However, an accident happened which changed everything. Mia had an out-of-body experience as an aftermath of the tragic car accident. She then must decide whether she would go back or not, wake up or die.

This heartbreakingly beautiful book from Gayle Forman already has a sequel entitled “Where She Went.” Moreover, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Moretz shared that she was a fan of the novel and understood what she wanted to come out from the character. She also talked about Jamie Blackley being the best choice for Adam’s role. Moretz referred to Blackley as “the perfect Adam.”

Moretz concluded the interview with what kind of movie that she wants to make.

“I want people to walk in and feel like they actually felt something, and learned something, and realized something different about life. . . . You want to watch something that actually means something and makes you feel and makes you want to be involved,” said Moretz in the Entertainment Weekly report.
