“I’ll Follow You Down” Review:

Frank Scheck of the Hollywood Reporter wrote in his review that the film was not able to deliver. Scheck also mentioned that it has a mild approach regarding to its mind-bending theme.

“This thematically ambitious sci-fi thriller doesn’t live up to its intriguing premise,” said Scheck in the Hollywood Reporter article.

Village Voice’s Simon Abrams pointed out that Mehta’s characters were not “especially thoughtful.”

”Instead of acting first and thinking as they go, characters take time to consider whether they should go back in time — which turns out to be a problem, since writer-director Richie Mehta’s characters aren’t especially thoughtful,” mentioned Abrams in his Village Voice review.
