“The Incredibles” that released back in 2004 featured the most adorable and one of the best superhero teams in the animated world. Fans at the time kept on wondering when the sequel would hit the screens. It has been quite some time since a probable sequel idea was revealed, however, recent updates shed some more light on the same.
According to Franchise Herald, the official Twitter account of Disney recently released the official logo of “The Incredibles 2.” This surely comes as an exciting news for fans who have been waiting to hear about a possible sequel to the superhit animated movie. The aforementioned updates are also hinting at a possible release date for the movie’s sequel.
Reports suggest that director Brad Bird will be returning to direct the movie and one can be hopeful that he will bring along the same expertise just the way he did with the first movie. Though it seems that the movie will not be releasing anytime soon, details about the movie have already been revealed.
According to the director, story of this movie will be character driven and because of the same reason, the director mentioned that sequel to the movie has been taking so long to release. If reports are to be believed then the release date of the movie might not please die hard fans who have really been waiting to see a second installment of the movie.
According to reports, “Incredibles 2” will be releasing somewhere in 2017 or 2018. However, all the reports about the release date of the movie are mere speculations as Disney has not really made an official announcement about the release date.
Atleast there’s one thing that everyone will be happy to know and that Brad Bird has finally found a story that will be the perfect follow up of the first movie. The story will be set about 11 years from the first part and will see the kids becoming the next superheroes and the youngest son of the family Jack-Jack as one of the main villains of the movie.
