Insidious: Chapter 4 first look featuring Lin Shaye is finally out. Of course, just seeing the clip is already sending some chills down the spine. What sinister thing did Elise discover?
Adam Robitel directs the new installment of the Insidious franchise. He made his debut with 2014’s The Taking of Deborah Logan. Meanwhile, co-creator Leigh Whannell wrote the script of the upcoming supernatural horror film, Insidious 4. Fans already know that he directed the previous installment of the franchise.
The First Look of Insidious: Chapter 4
The first look of the movie features Lin Shaye (Elise Rainier) and Tessa Ferrer (Aubrey). Shaye is a parapsychologist in the movie and is shown holding a lantern in hand. The expression on her face and the gloomy surroundings also suggest that something really frightening is taking place.
It reportedly looks like that her character is in The Further, the place where tormented souls reside. Blue hues dominate the picture and are adding to the eeriness.
Lin Shaye Reveals the Plot
Shaye has teased that Insidious: Chapter 4 will dig deeper into the past of Elise. Moviegoers can expect that the new installment will throw light on Elise’s life from the beginning. Fans will meet the character at a very different stage of her life.
She has also revealed that events of Insidious 4 will pick up from where the Chapter 3 finished. Tucker and Specs will be residing in her dwelling like her two sons. Everything will look happy and good at that time. They will also be running a company named Spectral Sightings. It is later that audience will learn about Elise’s parents.
Daily Dead reports that actress Lin Shaye has disclosed that the story of Insidious: Chapter 4 is “fantastic.” The movie will also take the viewers to her hometown in New Mexico. In the same place, she will seek the baddie who has been haunting her.
The actress has stated that new movie is “wonderful” and horror lovers are going to enjoy it thoroughly. The upcoming film no doubt is very scary.
Insidious: Chapter 4 will hit the theaters on October 20, 2017.
