No details have been revealed yet regarding the plot of the “Insidious: Chapter 4.” But according to Cinema Blend, the story might take place between “Insidious” and “Insidious: Chapter 3.” The forthcoming film is expected to be darker and scarier than the previous instalments. There is also a great chance that the story will not revolve around the character of Lin Shaye since more characters are expected to be added.
It can be remembered that in the previous instalments, Elise tries to eliminate the evil spirits lurking around. In “Insidious: Chapter 2,” she investigates “The Further” before trying to remove it. In Chapter 4, she might be dealing with new ghosts with the help of new characters.

The next chapter will be released near Halloween next year along with Ben Affleck’s upcoming film “Live By Night” so many movie goers are expected to watch.
