As they shared heated Instagram photos hitting on each other, everyone’s been asking what exactly started the on-going feud between Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus. A new report claims it’s because of Cody Simpson and a bit of Justin Bieber.
An exclusive source from HollywoodLife.com claims that while Gomez and Cyrus aren’t really much on good terms, they started going at each other publicly because of something Cyrus allegedly said during the first of Cody Simpson’s two 18th birthday parties.
On Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, Simpson celebrated two birthday parties, with the first on the day before his actual birthday, held on Saturday in the The Nice Guy restaurant in West Hollywood. The party was reportedly star-studded, with guests including Cyrus (of course!), her boyfriend Patrick Schwarzenegger, Simpson’s girlfriend Gigi Hadid, and last but definitely not the least, Justin Bieber himself!
But this is where the action began. According to the insider, during the said party, Cyrus apparently said something about Simpson having two parties so he can help Gomez avoid run-ins with her ex-boyfriend who is currently in attendance.
Hmm, talk about a touchy subject. But what does Gomez have to say about it?
The source added that later that night, Cyrus heard that Gomez thought of her as always hungry for attention and that it is not in her place to comment about her and Bieber being involved in Simpson’s decision to have two birthday parties. Gomez also allegedly feels that Cyrus had always hated her and that she’s just immature and being mean.
Simpson obviously didn’t expect to be somehow involved in the Instagram fight between his two friends. Apparently, he had two parties so he celebrate separately with his friends on the first one and with his family and other close friends on the second one, held on his actual birthday in Malibu.
We can only hope that everything ends well from here on in for Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez, don’t you think? Post your comments below.
