Amy Schumer stole the show in this week’s “The Bachelorette” and because of that, the comedian is being pursued to be the next bachelorette! Read below for the full details:

According to Us Weekly, ABC is cooking up huge plans to have Schumer on board next season with their hit dating series. If you remember, she dropped in the series in Season 11. She started to lead a challenge in which the contestants were to perform stand-up comedies. Kaitlyn Bristowe, the current bachelorette and the men lined up for her, were all smitten by Schumer’s charms as well as the network and the crew behind the reality series.

Her charm has made the whole team suggest that she be the next one on season 12. In fact, a lot of “The Bachelorette” fans tweeted their support and most of them really do want Schumer in next season!

The executives and producers noticed the widespread support of fans to have Schumer in the series. It lead to ABC head Robert Mills to tweet an official offer to Schumer! Mills is the studio’s Senior Vice President of Alternative Series, Specials and Late-Night Programming for ABC Entertainment

Well, isn’t that easy?

And what did Schumer say regarding the influx of support? She responded by tweeting, “Here I come! #bachelorette.”

However, there is still no official word from ABC is Schumer will be the next bachelorette for Season 12. Considering Schumer’s preset obligations with “Inside Amy Schumer” and an upcoming movie “Trainwreck,” the comedy star may just find it difficult to squeeze in “The Bachelorette” to her schedule. But still, we are keeping our fingers crossed!
