Soon after Chris Rock filed for divorce from wife of 19 years, Malaak Compton-Rock, news starts popping out that Rock has been going out in secret with “Top 5” co-star Rosario Dawson and now plans to go public with their relationship. Read on for further details.
MediaTakeOut.com reports that Rock and Dawson have been going out for a while.
“They got together while making Top 5 …but kept it quiet. Now I think Chris filed the papers on Malaak because he wants to go public with it,” an insider revealed to MediaTakeOut.com.
The source went further, saying that Rock and his wife haven’t been together for about two years now. Thus, he could have revealed his relationship with Dawson way back. However, he was concerned of what others would think of Dawson and decided to keep mum about it until now.
“They didn't want to announce it while their movie Top 5 was still being released – cause they didn't want people thinking that Rosario is some type of home wrecker,” added the source.
If this is indeed true, then this could be the start of every typical romance. Rock and Dawson started off as close friends. But it seems things took a different turn, and now they are romantically linked. Earlier in December, MailOnline reported of how close the two celebrities looked during the premiere of their movie. They even shocked the crowd when Rock suddenly swooped in to kiss Dawson right smack on the lips. The rest of the night was filled with smiles and laughter between the two.
But before you revel onto the idea of these two celebrities making beautiful music together, Gossip Cop came and busted the claims of MediaTakeOut.com, even calling the news its "latest misfire." According to Gossip Cop, a representative for Rock stepped forward and exclusively informed them that the latest news of Rock and Dawson going out is “100 percent untrue.”
