It was reunion time for ace ex-soccer player David Beckham, as he finally met all his children this Saturday. Beckham was touring around the globe for a UNICEF cause and took the field at the Old Trafford field of Britain. This was the final one, out of his matches in seven different continents.
The Goodwill Ambassador to UNICEF thus, ended his long journey of raising global awareness on the missions of UNICEF. He also reunited with some of his former football colleagues, as he played a face-off soccer match between Ireland and Great Britain versus The Rest of the World.
Brooklyn, 16, David’s oldest son with his wife Victoria were key contributors in helping his father’s team win the match. Beckham’s other children, Cruz, 10, Romeo, 13, and Harper,4 were adorable too, as they joined their father for some festivities before the game started.
They all posed together and what a sight it was. While the boys were wearing the same red uniform of UNICEF like their father, little Harper complemented the theme with her charming red pea coat. David’s little girl could barely manage to stifle a yawn, as the rain started and a moment of silence was observed by the family, to pay homage to the victims of the Paris attacks that took place this Friday.
There will be a game in Manchester for the kids in aid of UNICEF too. Ambassador David Beckham and his fellow player are supposed to pay tribute to all those people whose lives were taken away by observing silence for a minute. They would be also wearing black armbands to demonstrate their protests against this heinous crime.
This was posted by UNICEF on Instagram. A photo of the uniforms was also shared on the same social media platform. This is a special soccer match, where fans and players of all countries will come together, as a symbol of being united so that a safer and peaceful world could be created for all children around the world.
Beckham had a long journey that saw him traveling to different parts of the world including Antarctica, Miami, and Nepal. He played matches against the locals in all these countries.
