A bond of trust may have been abused as “iZombie” returns next month for its second season. Read below for more spoilers.
Former lovers Olivia “Liv” Moore (Rose McIver) and Major Lilywhite (Robert Buckley) were both in a tight spot in the closing moments of “iZombie” last season. Their dilemma began when the latter discovered that Liv became a “living dead” when the drug-dealing Blaine gave her an abrasion. The situation even became more damaging when Liv had to save his ex-boyfriend by infecting him also with the zombie virus. Things could have been better for them when Liv gave Major the vial which stopped the spread of the disease into his system.
Despite these actions Liv along with his supervisor Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti (Rahul Kohli) are still being spurned by Major due to their dishonesty and for keeping the truth from him.
In a recent Twitter footage, Kohli updated their fictional friendship which displays that there could really be a brewing hostility between the characters who are supposedly roommates in the tv series.
The said trailer ascertain Major’s annoyance of not what he had just gone through with. He also said that both Liv and Ravi have left him in the dark with the reality of the zombie epidemic in their area.
“iZombie” showrunner Dianne Ruggiero-Wright earlier revealed to Hollywood Life that the new season could probably bring in a new opportunity for the ex-fiancées.
“There better be! How could you not? I really think that there is potential for them,” Ruggiero-Wright gave some optimism for the separated couple in the upcoming season.
She insinuated that there is a big possibility that they will be able to mend their relationship, but it will be as friends for the meantime.
A new cast will also be parading his way for Season Two as reported by TV Fanatic. Veteran television actor, Robert Knepper infamous for his villainous roles in “Heroes” and “Prison Break” will have a spot-on role as Blaine’s father.
