“The boy who lived” became a reality in books, movies, merchandises, and theme parks because of the prolific writer J.K. Rowling. Her phenomenal Harry Potter series is well-loved even after years have passed by since the last book was released. If she will pen again another book intended for the children, will it be a massive hit too? Read On!
Last Tuesday, the British author had an interview with Simon Mayo on BBC Radio 2, as cited by Vulture. She shared that even if she’s still doing good with her pseudonym in Robert Galbraith, she is not closing her doors to write again under her real name. She reckons that she has a lot of choices to pick from as she returns to being J.K. Rowling.
Rowling said that it is difficult for her to give a definite date for the new book as she is busy now. She has many ideas and has written part of a children’s book, which means there will be a new children’s book.
The writer also added that she has ideas for adult books and sometimes gets worried about dying without finishing them all out. That’s my mid-life crisis. I will definitely write more novels as J. K. Rowling. Novels in the plural, I have so many ideas in my head.” Rowling further added.
According to USA Today, Scholastic Inc. has released a statement about their anticipation of her book. They are the publishing house which circulates her novels in the United States.
“Scholastic is thrilled that J.K. Rowling is working on another children’s book and we have no doubt that she will, once again, inspire even more young readers with her brilliant storytelling.
As to the genre of her upcoming book, some are speculating that it can be connected to Harry Potter while others think she will introduce new characters that everyone will love again.
