“Harry Potter” author J. K. Rowling issued the most perfect response to Australian businessman Rupert Murdoch’s anti-Muslim tweet.

J. K. Rowling, best-selling author of the “Harry Potter” series, hit out at News Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch after he took a racial swing at Muslims following worldwide anger over terrorist attacks on the Charlie Hebdo headquarters in Paris.

The post brought on a lot of angry responses at Murdoch’s anti-Muslim sentiment, but no more so than champion of equality, J. K. Rowling, who fired the most perfect retort to the Australian business magnate.

Her tweet included a dour photo of News Limited’s managing director in a news article from The Guardian covering the backlash of his social media comment.

Rowling further tweeted another post in rapid fire follow-up to the first one.

She was soundly validated by her fans and followers on Twitter, 17,000 of whom retweeted her classic retorts on their feed, while another 18,000 posted their own comments agreeing with her views.

Rowling, who represented most races and religions in her “Harry Potter” series, is one of those fighting the bigotry and Islamaphobia that emerged, particularly in France, after a jihad sleeper cell unleashed brutal attacks on the Charlie Hebdo offices in Paris last Jan. 7, 2015, followed by a hostage-taking situation at a supermarket in the same city.

A total of 12 people were killed during the attack, including eight journalists, two policemen, a building maintenance employee and a guest. Eleven other people were injured when the gunmen opened fire.

While an outpouring of support for Charlie Hebdo and its victims is currently underway, there have also been reprisal attacks against mosques in France and threats of violence against the country’s Muslim citizens.

As Rowling has pointed out so clearly, while an outraged community can blame French Muslims for acts of terrorist extremists, people of other faiths should also shoulder the blame for inhumane acts done by people belonging to their own religions.
