Jackie Chan to be in ‘Criminal Minds’

The “Criminal Minds” fans will certainly be extremely overjoyed after hearing the news that they are going to be entertained every week by the great actors Jackie Chan and Aisha Tyler. The show is renowned for the celebrity cameos and once again it is going to prove that “Criminal Minds” season 11 will not be deprived of it. Read on for more details.

Parent Herald reported that fans went crazy when the news on the potential involvement of Hollywood A-lister in the project was revealed.

Entertainment Weekly confirmed the entry of Tyler in its report saying that she would be playing the role of a forensic psychologist named Dr. Tara Lewis. Her character is reported to be the newest member of Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU). On the other hand, Tyler aka Lewis will assist the team to focus on criminal cases. Although there is no confirmation, but it is said that she would be Dr. Spencer Reid’s (Matthew Gray Guble) new romantic partner.

CBS has already given a detailed breakdown of Tyler’s character. It is as follows:

“Her dream was to study psychopaths up close and personal – and her psychology background, combined with her experience in the FBI, brought her face-to-face with monsters. Her job was to stare them down and interview them, in order to determine if they were fit to stand trial. In the process, she made herself find the humanity inside these broken men (and, sometimes, women) in order to learn if there was a conscience behind their brutal crimes.”

Marisol Nichols is likely to come back in this season based on her tweet in which she stated her participation in the “Criminal Minds” season 11.

Yibada reported “Criminal Minds” in truth needs strong female characters due to the exit of Kate Callahan (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and Jennifer Jareau (AJ Cook). However, we will have to wait for the premiere to know what “Criminal Minds” season 11 has in its store.

“Criminal Minds” season 11 will be aired on CBS on Sept. 30, 2015.
