Lead Stars Play Estranged Couples
Very less information is currently available on the role of Jake Gyllenhaal & Carey Mulligan. According to the sources, the lead couple will play husband and wife. The character of Mulligan leaves her husband because she falls in love with another man. The story focuses on how it affects the life of their teenage boy.
Surely, there is nothing new about the story as most of the couple break off as one falls for someone else. But it would be certainly an interesting revelation when presented from the viewpoint of the teenage boy.
According to Asia Starz, Dano co-scripted the Wildlife script along with the writer Zoe Kazan. The focus of the story is the narration of the boy. The feelings of a teenager child when he finds his parents are about to separate, their marriage falling apart due to unknown stranger projects an entirely different angle.
The original plot of Wildlife shows that the boy witnesses the marriage of their parents falling apart when they shift to Montana. The child is only 16 years old when his mother meets a man, Warren Miller and decides to move on with him. The father played by Jake Gyllenhaal is unemployed and dejected.
At present Gyllenhaal his busy shooting for Skydance’s Life. Just some time ago, he starred opposite Amy Adams in Nocturnal Animals of Tom Ford. He even produced and acted in the drama film of David Gordon Green, Stronger.
Jake Gyllenhaal and Carey Mulligan will begin shooting for Wildlife in Oklahoma and Montana from November 2016.
