James Corden’s latest Carpool Karaoke session reduced him to tears. And who wouldn’t? It was with the soul legend, Stevie Wonder! Read on for more details.

“The Late Late Show” host was joined by Wonder and the scenes that have followed caught him off guard in the best way. The first scene was all about the legendary singer making fun of Corden’s accent and him being an English man. After that, the two started to sing their hearts out with “Superstition,” “All Over” and “Sir Duke.”

What brought Corden to tears was when he asked Wonder to talk to his wife because she wouldn’t believe him that he’s actually going to be with Wonder. So, Corden called his wife, Julia Carey, and Wonder talked to her. He even pretended to be an English man again, mimicking Corden’s British accent.

However, he then started belting out “I Just Called to Say I Love You” changing the lyrics.

“I just called to say, James loves you. I just called to say he loves you and he promised me he’ll let me be on his show for an hour,” Wonder sang.

Wonder’s comedic antic brought Corden in hysterical laughters. He also proved to be quite the comedian during their Carpool Karaoke session and even jokingly asked Corden that they should start a band called “The Wondercats.” What followed after the tears were highly entertaining and Wonder was impressed with Corden’s voice.

It was a great episode for Corden and all of his viewers as well. The whole episode was entertaining and Wonder and Corden really did make a good team. Perhaps, they should really think about that band.
