With the success of past endeavors, Hollywood is now looking to bringing every major Marvel icon on to the big screen. A trilogy of Ant-Man focused movies are in the mix, with the first movie still looking for an actor to play the lead role of Henry Pym, a brilliant scientist who invented a substance that allowed him to change his size.
Previously Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Paul Rudd were being considered for the role but then a third name was revealed to have had landed on the list. This new entry was unknown to us but thanks to Screen Rant, we know now that there’s a high possibility of Jamie Bell to star in the Ant-Man trilogy.
Additionally there is also talk of Rashida Jones taking on the role of Janet van Dyne aka Wasp, a founding member of the Avengers who has the ability to shrink in size, fly and shoot energy blasts. The sad thing here is that currently the director is not going to feature Wasp herself in the first movie. Perhaps in the followup sequel we’ll finally see her change appearance but in the first one, Jones is just going to play plain old Janet van Dyne.
At this speed, we might very well get to see the entire cast being announced by the end of the month. As things are right now, everything is based on rumors.
