Jamie Dornan is juggling work and family life and honestly, he seems to be doing a pretty good job. Being the very, very busy actor that he is, he must have a favorite role and a character he has played that he’s not-so fond of.

Enstarz reports that the Irish actor like, everyone else does not like every part he had to portray. Of course, being the professional that he is, he has to keep his end of the bargain. Dornan reveals that there is one character (he’s currently playing)—that he has “almost nothing in common with”. Is the suspense killing you? And no, it’s not Christian Grey. He’s talking about a role for the small screen.

According to Belfast Live, Jamie Dornan confessed that one of his most thought-provoking roles as of late has not been being Christian Grey in “50 Shades of Grey” but instead, it’s his role as Paul Spector in “The Fall”, the BBC crime thriller.

“He is just so heinous and I do not have anything going on in my life like he does in his.” Dornan said.

Dornan, who is the husband of British actress and singer Amelia Warner, also mentioned some thoughts on how he gets ready for his roles. “I record both sides of a dialogue and play it on my iPhone and walk around and end up having a conversation with myself. It’s strange, but it works.”

Looking at his suggestion to other actors who want to make it big in the biz, he hinted calling in sick in auditions. He kidded, “Hope they like some of your previous work and give you the job anyway.”
