Jamie Dornan rose to fame with his eponymous character Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades franchise. The second installment, Fifty Shades Darker, is all set to crush the box office records again. On his recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, he revealed a lot about his upcoming film and his role.
Jamie Dornan Opens About His Sexy Role
Fans have been always curious to know more about Jamie Dornan and his character, Christian Grey of Fifty Shades. During his recent appearance on Ellen, he mentioned that BDSM is something outside of his comfort zone, but he surprised himself while playing his part in the film.
The host is known for her unusual gags in her show and had something already planned for the actor. She tied Dornan with a tape to spoof his famous scene from the film. Also, DeGeneres used office supplies instead of sex toys for the skit which seemed more like a comedy scene. Dornan was amused by her act and thoroughly enjoyed it. (Via Entertainment Weekly)
Jamie Dornan has already stated in one of his interviews that “I’d never seen any form of S&M before this, I had no interest in that world. It doesn’t float my boat.” His idea of being intimate is always open-minded and liberal. Furthermore, the upcoming sequel will feature romance along with suspense and thrill this time.
In addition to this, the storyline indulges in a lot of other emotions and not just love and romance. Ana reunites with Grey but they will be haunted by his past. However, they will take their relationship to the next level and will get more serious about each other.
Affair Rumors With Dakota Johnson
There were several reports about the alleged affair of Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson during the filming of the sequel. But, he has never spoken about it in public. Despite this, his wife, Amelia Warner, temporarily shifted her base to Vancouver last year to be with him when they were filming Fifty Shades Darker. Indeed, the onscreen couple has a wonderful chemistry on film which always raises intrigue.
The Fifty Shades Darker sequel hits theaters on Feb. 10. The third installment of the trilogy, Fifty Shades Freed, is already in the works and is set to be released on February 9, 2018.
