Janet Jackson has begun her Unbreakeable World Tour and her fans are loving her “keep it covered up” modest look. Read on for more details.
Jackson has been really busy lately. Her troupe has begun her “Unbreakable” Tour and her album of the same name is going to be released on Oct. 2, 2015. The months preceding the tour were very hectic for Jackson and her musicians and dancers. It was a particularly hectic time for her because she used to practice her dance moves for the tour all day before hitting the studio for recording her tracks at night. Her longtime music collaborators, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, were always supportive of her, but even they confessed that the period, although decisively happy, was a tad too stressful for the group.
The thing that stands out the most about the “Unbreakable” tour are Janet’s costumes. She is no longer in the Bare and Dare mode. Her dresses cover all parts of her body including her arms. This new avatar is striking and charming. Is she trying to start a trend? Because it’s beautiful and we are loving it.
The new look is probably inspired by the Islamist modesty. She is after all married to the Muslim business magnate, Wissam Al Mana, who owns everything from McDonald’s outlets to Renault showrooms in Qatar. Although nothing definitive has been revealed by Ms. Jackson or her troupe, it is obvious that her new clothing ensemble has a distinct Islamic influence. Did her husband help her pick out the clothes? We are guessing that is a yes.
The tour began on Aug. 31, 2015, and has already become a hit in Canada. The songs from the show will be available on vinyl, cd, and mp3 formats on Oct. 2, 2015. The new album is also titled “Unbreakable.” If the buzz going round is to be believed, the album is a certified hit. Janet’s legacy is “unbreakable” like her.
