The actors who are a part of superhero genre today were themselves a big fan of these fictional superheroes back in the day when they were kids. It also means that their appreciation for the genre is no different than our appreciation, but the only difference is that while we can attend Comic cons and events without any hassle, celebrities tend to find it a bit difficult. Though with celebrities like Jared Leto this does not seem to be a problem.
According to Slash Film, when the New York Comic Con was on, Jared Leto wanted to see how the event was going and was really curious to see the turnout at the event because Warner Bros. was already doing their thing with the DC Extended Universe stall.
Jared walked around the event with the most unusual mask that he could find. He was dressed as Rafiki from “The Lion King” and what is even more surprising that he clicked a picture with one of the attendees who had dressed up as his character The Joker from the upcoming “Suicide Squad.”
Once Jared Leto left the event, he surprised everyone when he shared what he was wearing at the event and even posted the picture that he took with the fan dressed as his character. He posted the picture on Twitter and captioned it “He had no idea.”
If you think Jared Leto was the only one to pull up a smart trick like that then you might want to know that Mark Ruffalo aka the Hulk too was at the event and even he chose the most hideous masks he could find. The only difference is that his son was keeping him company and could peacefully walk around the event without his father getting mobbed.
Screen Crush added that Jared put a note “My enemy, my friend” to a snap of one of the fans who was dressed as the Dark Knight. This must have been a reference to his character’s relationship with the Batman. Jared Leto will be seen in “Suicide Squad” as the evil Prince of Crime, the Joker.
