Diablo 3 has plenty of boy fans and gaming enthusiasts. And it seems the former game director, Jay Wilson still cares for his followers despite leaving Blizzard Entertainment. Wilson was hardly seen speaking much about it since his resignation. But recently, he broke all his rules by having a lengthy conversation with his fans on Twitter.
In his discussion, he mainly prioritized the previous design of Diablo 3 and how it took a new shape over time. According to Wilson, he and his team were not excited by the previous versions of Diablo 3 as it was more like Diablo 2.5. He also boldly cited that it was not worth releasing.
The fans and gaming experts previously blamed Blizzard Entertainment’s top management for taking a plenty of unusual decisions. However, Wilson’s tone was full of praising words for Blizzard. He said that he had never confronted upper management pressure. While working for Diablo 3, Blizzard offered him the most creative freedom he ever had in his entire game career.
Diablo 3 Never Scrapped!
In one of his latest tweets, he also made a prank about his exit. He tweeted that his exist from the game industry was meant for him not to pay attention about monetization anymore.
He further went on tweeting, “D3 (Diablo 3) project was never scrapped. It changed directions more than once… I led the team working on the upgraded combat initiative, and assisted the class design and PVP teams.”
On the other hand, Diablo 4 fans must remember that the much-awaited game is presently under development. It is one of the main reasons why Blizzard did not announce any information related to this upcoming game at Blizzcon 2016. And the experts think that D3 is still at his height and continuing to have demand just like before.
The rumors over the web world, as also cited by GameNGuide, give adequate hints that there will not be any sort of announcement from the house of Blizzard unless the finish line is accomplished.
