This Wednesday, Jay-Z testified that he was never aware that the remarkable hit album “Big Pimpin” that he came up with in 1999 carried a sample of it. The rap mogul said in an interview with Billboard magazine that Timbaland – his partner is never known for making use of samples.
According to Latin Post, Jay-Z went on to say that it is difficult to ascertain whether there was any difference in the occasion. Both of them had been charged for stealing and using the beats of the song “Khosara, Khosara” which is a tune from an old Egyptian song.
One the second day of the testimony, Beyonce’s husband was there to take the stand in the proceedings which is quite high-profile. The case was filed almost eight years back by the nephew of Baligh Hamdi, Osama Fahmy for stealing the tune of the song.
