Jennifer Aniston may not have grabbed a spot in the Oscar nominations list in the Best Actress category for her brilliant performance in “Cake,” but she will still mark her presence as a presenter at the 87th Academy Awards on Feb. 22, 2015.
Jennifer Aniston and John Travolta are among the latest batch of names that will present at the ceremony show as announced by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015. The duo joins an escalating lineup of stars tasked with handing out statuettes, including Scarlett Johansson, Kerry Washington, David Oyelowo, Sienna Miller, Chris Pratt, Octavia Spencer, Cate Blanchett, Lupita Nyong’o, Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto and more.

Aniston, along with David Oyelowo, will hand out the statuettes. Oyelowo has received significant approbation for his portrayal of Martin Luther King Jr. in “Selma.” Meryl Streep will also present an award, and she is also nominated for her role in “Into the Woods.”
Travolta, two-time Oscar nominee, notoriously mispronounced Idina Menzel’s name while introducing the “Frozen” singer as “Adele Dazeem” at the 2014 ceremony. Kerry Washington confirmed the big news via Twitter on Tuesday. “Very excited to announce that I’ll be presenting at @TheAcademy awards! Tune in!,” tweeted Washington.

Hosting for the first time is Neil Patrick Harris, known for his quick wit and extravagant set pieces when presenting the Tony Awards.
“I’ll admit that I’m nervous to host, but it’s much less pressure than being a nominee, having to go down a red carpet filled with prognosticators saying, ‘I think it’s your night! I can smell it!’” Anna Kendrick is meanwhile set to perform a special musical number,” said Harris on New York Times.
Several Oscar nominees are also lined up to present the awards, including Benedict Cumberbatch, who is nominated for “The Imitation Game”; Oprah Winfrey, nominated for “Selma”; Marion Cotillard, nominated for “Two Days, One Night”; and Wild’ Reese Witherspoon, nominated for “Wild.” Meanwhile, Anna Kendrick is set to perform a special musical number.
