“Jennifer Falls” returns from its short break this week with its fifth episode entitled “Staycation,” which will air on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at 10:30 p.m. on TV Land. The episode will feature Jennifer (Jaime Pressly) and her daughter, Gretchen (Dylan Gelula), having a mom and daughter time in their backyard. Along with its return, the show will be featuring a number of guests for its upcoming episodes. Read further to find out who these guests will be.

As reported by TV Guide, Dennis Haskin (“Saved by the Bell”) will be featured in the July 16 episode of “Jennifer Falls” entitled “School Trouble,” with Haskin playing the role of Mr. Whitehorn, Jennifer’s former principal. Mr. Whitehorn is very familiar with Jennifer’s antics as a teenager, and as he remains the principal of the high school where Gretchen now attends, he encounters Jennifer again but, this time, as a parent. Gretchen gets in trouble in this episode, and the former principal and Jennifer discuss the incident in a parent-teacher meeting that uncovers issues from 17 years ago.

For its July 30 episode entitled “Dads and Dogs,” viewers of the show will meet Gretchen’s father, Adam, who will be played by Chris D’Elia (“Undateable”). According to TV Line, Adam is described as an impulsive musician who has long been absent from his daughter’s life. He left Jennifer right after finding out she was pregnant. But he comes back a different man in this episode and starts including himself in Jennifer and Gretchen’s lives. The character is expected to have several recurring appearances from then on.

“Jane By Design” star Nick Roux is also dropping by at “Jennifer Falls” for two episodes, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Roux will be playing the role of Taylor, Gretchen’s boyfriend. With him around, the relationship between the mother and daughter will get a little bit complicated.

And that’s the latest news on the half-hour comedy, “Jennifer Falls,” which airs every Wednesday nights at 10:30 p.m. on TV Land.
