Jennifer Lawrence Slams Miley Cyrus Hard Without Being Specific

By admin | 4 years ago

Jennifer Lawrence couldn’t hold back her grievances about the sexualization of young Hollywood girls. Though never calling out by name, the Hollywood golden girl dissed Miley’s recent raunchy behavior when she hit the red carpet for the Hunger Games: Catching Fire premiere in London on Nov. 11.

“I’m just saying to each their own,” Lawrence said on BBC’s Newsnight of the twerking star. “It is a part of the entertainment industry that sells,” she said. ”For some disgusting reason, young sex sells even more.”

Lawrence didn’t name Miley directly, but her answer was specific enough to get a clue. Maybe, she had good intentions. Younger and then sexier – it will garner the most attention. But didn’t she slammed Miley, so hard?

“For some people, that’s how they feel best, that’s how they feel sexy,” she added.

Lawrence continued on her Catching Fire press tour, and said:

“We have the ability to control this image that young girls are going to be seeing. They see enough of this body that they will never be able to obtain and it’s an amazing opportunity to rid ourselves of that in this industry.”

It seems that the Oscar winner intends to set a good example for young Hollywood girls. But what about your risqué photoshoot for GQ magazine, Lawrence? You were 20, the same age Cyrus is now. Wasn’t you looking for the same kind of attention Cyrus warrants today?

It’s not difficult for us to know exactly where Lawrence is standing now. It’s pretty clear that she was actually demonstrating her loyalty to her ‘Hunger Games’ co-star Liam Hemsworth after his split from his ex-fiance, Miley.

Are you on Miley’s side? Or, you think that J-Law is pretty right with her candid comments. We want to hear it from you!
