Jennifer Lawrence and David O. Russell are the new names in the frames of legendary Hollywood pairing. The movie duo is the new addition to the inevitable trail of Robert De Niro and Martin Scorsese or Paul Thomas Anderson and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
A recent statement from Jennifer Lawrence made it clear that she shares a deep emotional concord with the director. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the “Silver Linings Playbook” actress made a bold declaration to Russell by saying: “I’ll do anything with you until you die.”

“Joy,” the latest venture of Lawrence and Russell, is the third collaboration of the pair. Her statement exemplifies her desire to persist work with the director with whom she already has done excellent films like “Silver Linings Playbook” and “American Hustle.” “Joy” hopefully gained a lot of positive buzz from the press like their previous projects that brought critical distinguishment for both actor and director.
The “Hunger Games” star prompted her admiration to Russell by saying, “I love him so much…I understand every look, every eyeball move, every word he says or doesn’t say. We were made for each other.”
In “Joy,” both Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper has again teamed up with O. Russell. The movie is inspired by the “Miracle Mop” inventor Joy Mangano.
The film has already have a lot of noise since Jennifer Lawrence’s award-winning role for “Silver Linings Playbook” and nomination for “American Hustle” and it’s easy to see why she is happy to keep working with the director. Well, we hope David O’ Russell presumably feels the same way as the glamorous actress wishes to work with him until he dies.
“Joy” will hit the theatre in this coming Christmas, Dec 25th.
