Netflix’s “MARVEL’s AKA Jessica Jones” has welcomed three more new cast members, as announced just recently on the official MARVEL website. Read on to learn more about the exciting new characters added to Netflix’s “MARVEL’s AKA Jessica Jones.”
The official site reported that actors Eka Darville, Wil Traval, and actress Erin Moriarty are the latest additions to the roster of talents. They will join Krysten Ritter, who plays the titular Jessica Jones and David Tennant, who will be portraying the villain Killgrave, as reported on Movie News Guide earlier.
Darville, an actor who was recently seen in the latest episode of Fox’s breakout hit “Empire,” as Ryan Morgan. Here, he will be portraying a man named Malcolm, a neighbor of Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), whose life and story coincidentally is “intertwined” with hers. Moriarty will l be portraying a young client of the new private investigator, named Hope. The actress has also appeared in several other television projects such as “One Life To Live”, “Red Widow” and “True Detective”.

Last but not least, Traval will be portraying a New York Police Department officer who takes his job very seriously. Aside from this, Traval has also appeared in various other projects, such as “All Saints,” “Rescue Special Ops,” and “Red Widow.” He also portrayed the roles of the Sherriff of Nottingham and Keith in the television show “Once Upon A Time.”
The show centers around the former superheroine Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), who retires from being a superhero to become a private investigator whose cases involve people with superhuman abilities. Jessica will be joined by future husband and Defender Luke Cage (Mike Colter); good friend and future superheroine Patricia “Patsy” Walker (Rachel Taylor), who later on becomes the heroine Hellcat; and the villain Killgrave (David Tennant).
“MARVEL’s AKA Jessica Jones” is the second series on Netflix revolving around a member of the MARVEL superhero team known as the Defenders. Aside from “AKA Jessica Jones” and “Daredevil,” MARVEL will also be releasing a series centered on the Iron Fist, and another one revolving around Luke Cage. These four series will culminate in a series entitled “The Defenders.”
