It’s still hard to imagine “American Horror Story” without Jessica Lange and now that the new installment of the series “American Horror Story: Hotel” is currently underway, it looks like it’s not the end yet for Emmy award winner at all.
In January 2015, Lange released a statement that she’s done with Ryan Murphy’s anthology series but just recently, she seemed to have changed her mind because when asked about “AHS” she said, “If Ryan came to me and said, ‘Would you want to do a small character for a couple of episodes?’I would absolutely say yes if I liked it. This was a great collaboration, so I would love to keep working with him,” she said in an interview with TheWrap.
In fact, Lange is actually working with Murphy for Broadway staging of “Long Day’s Journey Into Night.”
Also, we are anticipating another Emmy win for Lange after playing Elsa Mars in last year’s “American Horror Story: Freak Show” because really, she was amazing.
Now, the question still lingers, is Murphy and Lange cooking up something for the upcoming “American Horror Story?” Wouldn’t it be a bit weird to see Lange playing a small role when we got used to her playing the main role all throughout the series? It’s also surprising that she’s open again for “AHS” when all along we thought she’s done and over with it. Still, we would love to see her back.
