The late comedy icon Joan Rivers, who died on Sept. 4,2014  at age 81 from complications from throat surgery, gave her fans one last surprise on Friday when her Facebook account promoted the new Apple iPhone 6 with a posthumous post. Read on to learn more about this scoop.

Legendary comedian reportedly suffered cardiac arrest during surgery in New York. Rivers used social media to send her fans a significant note about the iPhone 6. According to her official social media channels, she is impressed with the design of the new iPhone 6. The sponsored scheduled post appeared Friday on her official Facebook and Instagram pages. The post was removed, pronto.

Here is what the post read:

This badass is being replaced by an iPhone 6 (not the fat one). I got this one in 2010, and after 4 years, my only complaint is that apps are now designed for bigger screens, and the battery is getting tired. Never had a case for it, since it was most beautiful on its own. Great achievement in design. Great product.

Undoubtedly online natives were pleased by the post as the post written by the “Fashion Police” star reached well over 1.3 million viewers before being deleted.

According to TMZ reports the Joan Rivers Friday morning’s shocker post was the result of a pre-signed deal with Apple Inc. Reportedly, iPhone 6 have received pleasing reviews from critics and users alike. A recent drop test revealed that the new iPhone 6 and its big brother are more durable than Samsung’s Galaxy S5.  iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have been selling like hot cakes across the planet. More than 10M iPhone 6 and 6 Plus phones were snapped up in their first three days on sale. Awe-inspiring demand prompted Apple to push deliveries to November.

“Sales for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus exceeded our expectations for the launch weekend, and we couldn’t be happier,” said Apple’s chief executive, Tim Cook.

In addition to the larger screen, the iPhone 6 brings a faster A8 processor, a wireless chip for making payments at retail stores, and health & fitness tracking capabilities. Apple shares rose 0.63 percent to $101.60 in pre-market trading Monday. Click here to know more about it.
