Marvel’s upcoming superhero action pic “Ant-Man” has added new cast members prior to its production. Read on to learn more about the scoop.

Aside from Slattery, other new “Ant-Man” cast members include Judy Greer, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Abby Ryder Fortson, David Dastmalchian, Wood Harris, Gregg Turkington and rapper-actor T.I.
They will join the ensemble for the much-awaited superhero feature film alongside lead actors Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas and Evangeline Lilly and Corey Stoll who were both announced to join the cast earlier at the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con.
John Slattery an actor and director is best known for his role as Roger Sterling on AMC’s series “Mad Men.” For his role, he received four Primetime Emmy Awards nominations and two Critics’ Choice Television Awards for the series. He directed his first feature film, “God’s Pocket” (2014), which he also co-wrote with Alex Metcalf, based on a 1983 novel of same name by Pete Dexter.
In “Ant-Man,” Rudd will be the second person who will portray the role of Lang/Ant-Man. He is a con man turned hero who wanted to help the first Ant-Man, Hank Pym, played by Michael Douglas. Lilly will play as Hope Van Dyne, an original character, the daughter of Hank Pym while Stoll will be playing central villain, Darren Cross or Yellow Jacket.
Marvel’s “Ant-Man” is an upcoming superhero film based on the comic book characters of the same name, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Marvel Studios president, Kevin Feige will produce the film along with Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee as executive producers.
“Ant-Man” is directed by Peyton Reed, known for his works including “Bring It On”, “Down with Love”, and “The Break-Up”. It will hit the big screens in July 17, 2015.
