Netflix’s “Wet Hot American Summer” miniseries is highly anticipated by fans. The miniseries is adapted by the original Wain film and one of the best things about this is that the whole cast from the original series are set to come back for the miniseries! Although not so many details have not yet been revealed, one cast member divulge a useful information.
John Slattery is one of the cast members of the miniseries and he revealed during a press interview the details of the final season of “Mad Men,” and his role in the upcoming Netflix series. “Claude Dumet is a theater director. I’m trying to think, what can I tell you? I’ll give it away. I’m a theater director who comes to direct a camp production,” he said.
Aside from that, he expressed his amazement regarding the cast, “I didn’t realize how many of those people I knew!… from Chris Meloni to Paul [Rudd], Amy, [Poehler], Bradley [Cooper], Zak Orth – I’ve known all those people over the years.”
We are as thrilled as him that these people are game to star in the Netflix series. It’s just one of the best things ever. In fact, one of the best things for Netflix. This will surely get really high ratings when it airs.
The fact that Slattery will be a theater director in “Wet Hot American Summer” only means that the epic camp production, remember Jon Benjamin as the talking can of vegetables?
