The Court has finally relieved John Stamos, Full House star stating that he need not serve jail because of the charges he is facing for his DUI arrest in June this year. Read on to find what are the additional charges that have been levied on him.
It has been reported that the lawyers representing the 52 year old actor pleaded no contest on behalf of him this Tuesday. The “Grandfathered” star was arrested in Beverly Hills located in California on 12th June. The arrest was done after police received many calls reporting a possible case of DUI driving. As per the courts order, though Stamos need not face community service or jail time, he will however have to pay a fine of $390 along with serving a probation for 36 months.
Also, as per the plea deal, the actor will be required to attend and complete the hours of alcohol and drug counseling session. He also will also be attending 52 AA meetings and a DMV class as part of the deal. While giving an interview with Details magazine, he was heard saying, “I’ve had a rough year with my mom dying, so it all came to a head, and it was a turning point,”. He had been treated in a rehab center in July for substance abuse. When he was out of rehab, he tweeted to thank his friend for all their support. Also, he mentioned that he is willing to get back to work on various projects including Full House and Netflix revival.
As per the deadlines given to John Stamos, the court manadated counseling needs to be completed by 24th May 2016. On 28th November 2016, he needs to produce proof of AA sessions. The star is currently featuring in American comedy series “Grandfathered”. He is also known famously for his role in American sitcom “Full House”.
