The much awaited finals of Season 9 of “The Voice” show was on Tuesday. And yes you are right when you guessed the winner of the show to be Jordan Smith. The incredible singer, who showed his talents right from the beginning of the show, was a clear winner.
Now that the winner has been announced, let’s get a sneak a peek at what all happened on the final day of Season 9 of “The Voice.” With four contestants competing for the winner’s title, it seemed quite tough for the fans as well as the judge to come to the conclusion as to who would be the winner.
Jordan Smith, Emily Ann Roberts, Gwen Stefani and Barrett Baber were the final contestants who were competing for the title this time. While the winner was Jordan Smith, the second place was given to Emily Ann Roberts. The third and the fourth place went to Barrett Baber and Gwen Stefani respectively.
Describing his win to be surreal, the singer mentions that he has still not got used to the fact. He feels blessed to be a part of the show and the fact that he has grown so much while performing here. He said that he believes in learning throughout. The end to the Season 9, for him is a new beginning to something else he feels. Smith told US Weekly that he has improved a lot since his first performance and that he is a confident performer now.
Coach Adam proved to be a great choice for Smith. He admitted that Adam and he worked really hard and Adam was successful in bring out the best in him. Smith is not only a favorite of Coach Adam, but he has huge fan followers who just loved his songs incredibly. In fact his songs featured in the Top 10 of iTunes. This proves that he was a favorite contestant of millions of viewers.
Smith chose “Climb Ev’ry Mountain” in the category where he had to sing a solo song on the final day. He says the song has lot of significant in his life. The Kentucky native said that though the win is very special to him, he knows very well that he needs to work hard and keep releasing good music for his fans in order to sustain in the industry.
However, for Jordan Smith, his favorite moment was performing “Somebody to Love.” He sang it so incredibly well that he even managed to top the iTune chart knocking Adele. It was not only about performances by the four finalists during the final episode of the NBC singing competition.
Some favorite contestants were also there and they put up a group performance and sung the song “Lean On.” The famous singer Justin Bieber was also there and he drove the audience crazy with his solo song “sorry.”
