It is said that there are two different type of dinosaurs spotted on the sett—the Dilophosaurus and Apatosaurus.
Dilophosaurus was first spotted in the original Jurassic Park movie, in which it killed Dennis Nedry (Wayne Knight) in the jeep. He was then trying to flee with the dinosaur embryos but ultimately got killed. It seems that the upcoming movie is going back to its roots, and it will be interesting to see the old creatures coming back on big screen. Also, they were not introduced in the first part of this franchise. Hence, it is not known whether they pose a threat to the humans or not.
Apatosaurus is another creature that is massive in size. They had been featured in the earlier movie, combatting the carnivorous Indominus Rex. However, nothing is known about how they will be featured in this sequel.
In another interesting update, it was confirmed by the former director of the franchise, Collin Trevorrow, that the T-Rex is making a comeback in the part. This dinosaur was first seen in Steven Spielberg’s 1993 film. However, while responding to fans, he subtly made a confirmation that the Indominus Rex is going to be featured this time, for sure. Rexy is said to be modified and has been given improved skin and some scars. However, nothing is known about its role and screen time in the sequel.
