“Jurassic World” star Chris Pratt dropped by “The Tonight Show” and showed off his singing skills, as he joins host Jimmy Fallon in a game of “Nonsense Karaoke.” Read on to learn more about this scoop.
People Magazine reported that Pratt showed off his singing skills, as he competed against Fallon in a game of “Nonsense Karaoke.” Fallon started introducing the mechanics of the game, with each of them taking turns in singing a hit song with odd lyrics.
The “Jurassic World” actor took the first spot with the hit single, “Uptown Funk.” The 35-year-old actor sported a suit and tie while singing along to Marc Ronson’s song.
“Arm pit is ice cold. Egg shell diaper is quite old. This one for them drunk squirrels,” sang Pratt while doing some serious lip bites in between lyrics.
Fallon acts as second voice for the song as the “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor enters into the song’s chorus and dances along to the tune of the song. Fallon takes his turn and tells the audience that Pratt raised the bar.
Fallon then introduces that he will be performing Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me.”
“Guess it’s true. I got nude in a mini-van. But I still need a shoe with a side of ham,” he sang as the sweet lyrics of the Sam Smith ballad suddenly took on a hilarious turn.
Fallon sang the chorus as “Oh won’t you shave my knee into a knee goatee,” instead of the lyrics, “Oh won’t you stay with me cause you’re all I need.”
Fallon and Pratt finally took on their final song and sang along to Kelly Clarkson’s “Since You’ve Been Gone.”
The skit was pretty interesting and very entertaining, which left many fans wondering if this will turn into another separate show, much like “Lip Sync Battle” did after the recurring bit became such a hit among its viewers.
“Lip Sync Battle” recently aired Mike Tyson and Terry Crews’ episode where the former heavyweight champ sang and danced along to Rolling Stone’s song, “Satisfaction” and Salt-N-Pepa’s “Push It.” The “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” actor, on the other hand, lip synced and danced along to Run-D.M.C’s “Sucker MCs” and Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles,” Rolling Stone reported.
