FX has gained the reputation of snagging blockbuster movies and their latest addition? “Jurassic World.” Read below for the full details:

The network has just recently obtained TV rights for “Jurassic World,” which also became the highest-grossing weekend movie unseating “The Avengers” with a gross of $208.8 million.

Prior to this, FX has obtained the rights to “Fast and the Furious 7” and “Pitch Perfect 2.” The network has always been very aggressive when it comes to getting blockbuster features and with that being said, they have become the leading destination for blockbuster TV series that are all coming in the coming years. So yeah, you have to be very patient especially with their latest addition.

Just last year, the network licensed 64% of last year’s movies more than $100 million at the box office.

With so many blockbuster snags, FX has a lot in store for viewers out there. It may take a while though before these movies develop into series but don’t worry because it is definitely happening. In a year or so, I won’t be surprised if FX becomes hailed as the top blockbuster network for hit TV series. That would be really amazing.

The network’s knack for bagging blockbuster films is a great marketing strategy, allowing viewers to look forward for more awesome TV series coming their way soon. As for me, I can’t wait to see how they are going to shed light on the Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard thriller. This is going to be really exciting!
