Justice League is this year’s most anticipated movie. The DC ensemble is undergoing some reshoots currently. The latest update has now revealed details about a second trailer that will be dropping soon.

These details have revealed quite a few events from the trailer including the re-appearance of a superhero who has been missing for a while.

Justice League second trailer teased

Screen Rant reported that a new update reveals what fans will be seeing in the second trailer of Justice League. It begins with the same footage of Batman recruiting Flash.

Once the speedster comes aboard, the Dark Knight can be seen talking to Wonder Woman. There is a shot of Cyborg as well following, which Aquaman tries to stop Steppenwolf from taking the motherbox residing in Atlantis.

After the unsuccessful attempt, he saves Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, and Cyborg from a flooding tunnel and officially joins them. The trailer then reportedly has a montage of action scenes that show the heroes fighting Steppenwolf and even within themselves.

The most awaited revelation comes at the end of the trailer when the Man of Steel in a new avatar lands in front of Batman’s vehicle. It should be noted that Superman would be sporting his black suit during the scene and have an evil smirk on his face.

Superman’s return in Justice League

Superman’s return was teased a long time back. Back in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the gravel on his grave had levitated, which hinted that he would be back soon.

The above-mentioned description states that Superman will be seen in some kind of evil form when he shows up. Chances are, he must have been brainwashed by the Apokolips forces into believing that the entire planet Earth is his enemy and he is a servant of Darkseid.

If this is the case then the heroes will have a major threat to face. Stopping Superman would perhaps take the might of all the heroes and some kryptonite.

Additionally, it could also take a little bit of love to remind Superman who he is. In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Flash had appeared in the knightmare sequence and indicated that Lois Lane is the key.

If that dream sequence holds any connection to Justice League then she could be the one who could help the heroes defeat Superman. What if looking at her reminds Superman about who he is? Once he is fully aware of who he really is, it would not take much time for the heroes to defeat Steppenwolf and save the world.

Truth about the trailer

Even though the description of the second trailer looks quite interesting, there is a contradicting report that states the description is inaccurate. This contradictory report comes from The Wrap’s reporter Umberto Gonzalez.

The ace scooper stated on his Twitter account that the description that has been going around is not true at all. Even if the trailer’s description is not true, it does paint an interesting picture of what will be seen in the DC ensemble.

This movie is highly anticipated amongst fans as it has been in the making for a really long time. A previous version titled Justice League: Mortal never materialized otherwise it would have brought the DC team on the big screen.

San Diego Comic-Con premiere

The official release of the second trailer is rumored to be shown at San Diego Comic-Con next month. Studios usually tend to release the first looks or new trailers of their big budget production at a convention like this.

Reports state that the trailer is expected to release on July 22 and only then will fans will be able to witness what it holds.

Justice League will assemble the DC superhero team for the first time. They will be going up against Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons to save the world. The movie will also feature supporting characters from each of the heroes’ storylines.

Release date

Justice League will release this year on Nov. 17.
