Justin Bieber, has apparently been asked to remove some graffiti off of a hotel wall. The singer had spray painted cartoon faces on an external wall of the Gold Coast Hotel in Australia which he is currently touring.
However, it seems like the hotel wasn’t taking the matter as too hostile and responded in calm fashion that it was pleased to have Justin’s artwork on their wall however, Gold Coast City council said that it would order the graffiti’s removal.
Gold Coast replied to a comment on its Facebook page: “We are stoked to have Justin Bieber’s artwork on our wall.”
They added that this gave permission to Justin to paint on the wall. However, the Hotel’s City council said that though the graffiti was on a private property, it was very visible to the public and was going to become an eye-sore and therefore had to be removed.
Earlier, Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tait described Bieber’s behaviour as “really silly”.
The city has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to graffiti explained a mayoral rep and continued that if Justin wouldn’t clean it up then the hotel is expected to do so.
“Just come and clean it up and we’ll be happy with you. Alternatively come and sing at our mayoral Christmas carols on 7 December for an hour and I’ll let you go.”
