It is noticeable how Justin Bieber has been in a series of interviews discussing openly about his Christian faith. Now, he is more than determined to publicly express his faith not just to his fans but to the rest of the world as well since the positivity is evident in the messages of his songs in “Purpose” album. He has also seized the opportunity in his recent concert to share again how God has restored him.
According to LA Times, the concert entitled “An Evening With Justin Bieber” held in the Staples Center last November 13, Friday showcased a more subtle side of his musical prowess and featured a part wherein he discussed the significance of having a connection with God. He has toned down some of his old and new songs and performed acoustic renditions of them.
When it’s time to share his faith, he sat on a stool beside Judah Smith who’s a close pastor to him. Bieber has emphasized the necessity of having a consistent positive mindset with the help of encouraging and good people. He added that his relationship with God gave him the strength to come back standing on his feet again after going through various controversial issues.
In an interview from Complex as cited by Christian Today, he said, “At this point, my faith has gotten me to where I am. My faith has brought me to a whole other level. I love talking about my faith.”
He added, “Love is a choice. Love is not a feeling…I can’t lean on people. I got to lean on God. I gotta trust in him through all my situations. Then, hopefully, my other relationships will flourish around me.”
Justin Bieber is truly turning into a new leaf and this new chapter in his life may positively influences his fans too.
