After months of partying and playing with friends, it looks like Justin Bieber is working on his musical comeback. In a Twitter exchange with MTV, Bieber has hinted on a new album in 2015.
MTV tweeted on Monday, Dec. 29, 2014, “Hi Rihanna and Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus. Please bless us with new albums in 2015.”
Bieber replied, “No problem.”
Yes, that’s not yet a confirmation of another album, but it’s pretty close to a solid “YES.” Bieber also explained his long absence from making music through an Instagram post. He said, “My break is for a reason. U will soon see J thank u for your patience”
Bieber's last studio album was in 2012 titled “Believe.” His manager also hinted about Bieber's new album through an Instagram post, which almost completely confirms that he is indeed making a new album in 2015. He posted a photo with the quote: “2013 was practice, 2014 was the warm up, 2015 is game time.”
As if his manager’s post wasn’t enough to tease the fans, producer SoundZ (Kenneth Coby) tweeted on Dec. 30, 2014, “this new jb album, not thats something I’m gonna be able to brag about! still working, its just getting warm. we got too much material.”
SoundZ has previously worked on Justin’s 2012 “Believe” and 2013 “Journals.”
Bieber topped Forbes’ annual list of highest earning celebrities under 30, for which he reportedly earned around $80 million over a 12-month period. The “Baby” singer holds the top spot followed by One Direction in no. 2 with $75 million and Taylor Swift at the third spot with $64 million. Bieber ranked third at Billboard’s 30 Most Anticipated Albums of 2015. Business Insider also included Bieber as one of “The 7 Biggest Comeback Brands of 2015.”
We wonder what songs Biebs will have for his new album. We’re sure fans are pretty much excited for his much awaited comeback. What music do you wish to hear from Justin’s new album? Sound off in the comments!
