Finally, after months of silence and a number of reveals from family and close friends, Justin Timberlake finally confirms wife’s pregnancy through a very touching photo.
On Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, Timberlake celebrated his 34th birthday, and along the birthday celebration is his announcement of the pregnancy of his wife, Jessica Biel (finally!). Timberlake posted a photo on Instagram, showing him kissing Biel’s large baby bump, which was left bare as her jacket was lifted just enough to show her already large belly.
Though the couple has not yet given any further details aside from the photo, earlier reports of Biel’s pregnancy claim that she is due to give birth sometime in April. And judging from Timberlake’s caption on the photo, “Thank you EVERYONE for the Bday wishes! This year, I’m getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER. CAN’T WAIT. #BoyOrGirl #YouNeverKnow #WeDontEvenKnow #WeAreTakingBets,” they don’t have an idea yet of the baby’s gender.
According to a source from Life & Style magazine, as reported by HollywoodLife.com, the couple has clashing ideas on whether to find out their baby’s gender or not. In Timberlake’s case, he’d prefer it to be a surprise, but Biel wants otherwise because she wants to be “completely prepared.”
Even with the couple keeping mum on their baby’s arrival, close friends already took it upon themselves to give the announcement. One of the first photos was from a good friend of Biel’s, InStyle editor Ariel Foxman, who posted and later deleted the baby announcement over at Instagram last October 2014.
The most recent was from Timberlake’s former N’Sync co-member Joey Fatone in December 2014. According to him, he was told of the news a long time ago. With regards to Timberlake becoming a father, Fatone said, “Justin is a kid at heart. [They’ll have] fun.”
