It seems that fans and haters alike will see more of the Kardashian-Jenner clan as the family signs a four-year deal with network E! amounting to $100 million. Read on for further details.
According to Page Six, Momager Kris Jenner closed a deal with E! including her daughters, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian West and Kendall and Kylie Jenner. The deal includes the family’s reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” (KUWTK), spin-offs, other digital projects, among others. Bruce Jenner, however, was not part of the deal as he will be leaving after Season 10. He is believed to be launching his new show, documenting his journey as he transforms into a woman. Kanye West was also excluded from the deal, although he will still continue to have guest appearances on “KUWTK.”
Meanwhile, a source told Us Weekly that before the deal took place, Kris threatened E! of leaving.
“This has been in the works for almost a year. Kris is a fierce negotiator. They were not planning on leaving E!, but she was playing major hardball and threatening to leave. E! needs them,” the source revealed to Us Weekly.
In addition, Ryan Seacrest, the “KUWTK” creator will also get a “sizeable fee” in the deal, as reported by Mirror.
