Kate Hudson and her brother Oliver Hudson were not surprised by the harsh words of their dad Bill Hudson publicly disowning them. Read for more details.
According to US Weekly, “Bill Hudson publicly disowned his two eldest children, Kate and Oliver Hudson, on Sunday, June 28.” However, both the 36-year-old Kate and her brother Oliver, 38, were not surprised by their father’s harsh words.
The source also reported that the “Almost Famous” actress and the “Rules of Engagement” star had “zero relationship” with their musician dad for several years.
“They don’t care and are not surprised by this,” and “It’s been this way, and he’s been saying this stuff forever,” added the source.
ET Online reported that The Hudson Brothers band member Bill announced that he no longer considers Kate and Oliver as his children, when Oliver posted an old photo of himself with Bill and his sister Kate, on Instagram on Father’s Day. Oliver has captioned the picture as “Happy abandonment day.”
However, reports said that both Oliver and Kate wished “Happy Father’s Day” to their mom Goldie Hawn’s longtime love, Kurt Russell, through social media.
In an interview with Mail Online, Bill said, “I no longer recognize Oliver and Kate as my own,” and “I would ask them to stop using the Hudson name.” He also blamed Russell for his separation from his two children.
Bill also added that Oliver’s Instagram post was “a malicious, vicious, premeditated attack,” and that he now considers Oliver and Kate are no more even though they are still walking this earth.
As Bill Hudson said in the interview, Oliver’s Father’s Day post would have been devastating for the father of five children. Even though Oliver Hudson was allegedly trying to be hilarious while posting that comment, he should have thought twofold before posting it.
